VOLO Build
With VOLO, you know you are fully compliant under the Manufactured Homes act.
Volo Modular specialise in building and delivering quality prefabricated modular houses designed for over 50’s retirement living. Volo Modular homes are fully compliant under the Manufactured Homes(Residential Parks) Act 2003. Action can be taken against residential park owners or managers who breach the Act. Breaching the act can cause huge financial losses, so it's imperative that you engage a reputable modular home builder like Volo Modular.
Our homes have the same characteristics of a normal dwelling, though they can be moved from one position to another, which means they're not permanently attached to the land, thus meeting all the requirements under the Residential Parks Act 2003. Constructing a manufactured home can be complicated and costly, however the benefits of prefabricated modular construction can assist in streamlining these processes significantly. With Volo's precise planning, designing and construction of community housing projects, gives us the ability to deliver projects on time every-time without any disruptions to existing residents.
We require your initial deposit once the design requirements have been decided on and the site has been assessed.
During construction in Volo’s Factory you'll be able to access your Volo App with progress reports and photos.
You'll be required to pay the balance once the Volo Modular is delivered to site and you're ready to move in.
Modular homes are fast to build – from the time construction starts in the factory until you move in usually takes around 12-16 weeks. This timeframe includes the factory building phase (8-10 weeks in the factory) and the on-site fit-off phase (4-6 weeks on your land).
Yes. More than half of our clients require finance when building their new home. There can however be some challenges to obtaining finance for modular homes. Lenders can find it hard to progress payments while the home is being built off site, and may not want to release funds until the house is completed. This often comes down to a lack of understanding of modular homes, and can be overcome. Our team have helped hundreds of customers in a similar situation and are happy to share our knowledge, chat to your lender or recommend a broker who has experience with financing modular homes.
Volo homes are supplied complete with all internal fixtures and fittings, wall lining, ceiling, windows, doors, etc. already installed. Typically, kit homes are supplied flat packed for the purchaser to fully assemble on site.
As long as you are allowed to build on your property you can build with Volo Modular homes. Please contact your local council for applicable restrictions, land area you can cover, number of dwellings you can install etc.
